It’s this idea for a movie I’ve had for a while, in which a character hits someone with her car on christmas eve day and goes on the lam and–well you know what? I’ll just let you read it!

Hey all–
in 12 minutes, it will be Monday and this week, Monday is MY DAY to create something awesome. Or just SOMETHING, anyway. Our days run 6 am to 6 am so technically I have till 6 am Tuesday–we are artists after all, not exactly morning people….I don’t know about you all but I find I do my best thinking at night; I can very rarely write a good scene during the day, it seems.
Anyway, I’m blogging right now to talk about the fact that even though I write and make fun things (like our first movie) all the time, when there’s a deadline?
It’s scary.
Because I won’t get to perfect it, I can’t put any sort of disclaimer on it about how ‘I didn’t have time to finish so don’t be too hard on it, it is what it is’.
This project is totally just as scary as it is fun. But scary in a good way. Like, trying a weird looking muffin you can’t identify, or jumping out of an airplane, or moving to a new country you’ve never seen before.* You just have to do it and sort of hope for the best.
Because if you wait to make something PERFECT and keep it to yourself til then, it never gets done/out there. And if it’s not out there being fabulous art, then it’s not doing its job and making the world a little prettier.
So. 4 minutes til Monday. Here I go 😉
